Leonhardt Bauer announced as new Executive Vice President of Medela Healthcare

We are pleased to announce that Leonhardt Bauer has taken on the role of Executive Vice President (EVP) at Medela Healthcare on 1 January 2016.

Since 2005, Leonhardt Bauer has built up and managed as CEO two companies that researched the latest active substances and technologies and brought these onto the market. Through this, he has gained a great deal of experience both as an entrepreneur and as a pioneer. After completing study in medicine at the Medical University of Vienna specialising in dermatology, allergies and immunology, he worked as a consultant for McKinsey for over seven years, most recently as a principal/partner. It was here that he developed the McKinsey European Healthcare Group as joint leader. In this role, he worked closely with global pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and health insurance providers.
